Learn to Be Almaden

Learn to Be Almaden in a chapter of the non-profit organization, Learn to Be, connecting students from underserved communities to online tutors for free. Our mission is to expand Learn to Be in the Almaden Valley neighborhood of San José, California.

What We Do

Recruit Tutors

By becoming a member of Learn to Be Almaden, you will be able to apply as a tutor to Learn to Be. Through Learn to Be Almaden, tutors will receive help on how to get started and how to maximize their tutoring resources.

Recruit Students

As a community chapter, Learn to Be Almaden will organize trips to local foster youth organizations, food banks, homeless shelters that serve students, local schools, etc. to spread the word of Learn to Be and help recruit more students in need of help.

Fundraise

Learn to Be Almaden will host fundraisers to raise money to donate educational materials in places with a lack of access to them. We will also host book drives.
